Hamlet’s Echo

This experimental adaptation of Hamlet employed cellular phones to deliver fragmented dialogue to an answering machine while performers mingled in public spaces. Audience members were left printed instructions for trying to follow along and discern the action and actors from random passersby. One character performed his role in Times Square New York City in view of a public web cam. That footage, the audio recordings, photographs, and video footage, are all being editing into a complete narrative born of fragments.
